20 Grey Lava Stones

These heat retaining gray lava stones are a perfect finish to add to your gas fire pit.

NOTE: Why would logs or stones go black?

This is called "sooting" and occurs when anything is placed directly in the flame. A flame gives of carbon and if the stones / logs are placed directly on, it will go black. The stones should be placed so that the flames flow in-between and you should not over stack. A dry emery cloth can be used when the stones / logs are cold to remove the black.
